One of my most recent recruits from the professional ranks is Min Kyu Kim from South Korea. At just 16 years old he has already won three times in 2017, including back to back victories on the Europro Tour. More recently he managed a runner up finish in the Europro Tour Finals at Amendoeira. It meant he finished just £500 behind the winner in the Order of Merit for 2017 and cemented his place on next year's Challenge Tour. MK mentioned he putted great all week, showing his hard work is paying off. He travels to Spain this week for stage 2 of European Tour Qualifying, bidding for full playing rights in 2018.  Other clients Sam Forgan and Mark Laskey join him in Spain and I wish them all the best of luck.

October also saw Sam Forgan take victory at the first Thomson Tour of the season after a 63 at Mid Herts. Joe Brooks took the spoils at Old Fold Manor in the second event, shooting 67 to pip Sam by a single shot.

Firstly, congratulations to Glen Portelli for a fantastic month of golf. Last week he qualified for the PGA finals by finishing 3rd in the PGA East Order of Merit and now has the opportunity to qualify for the PGA at Wentworth. Also last month Glen shot 2 course records in as many weeks. Glen took victory at Saffron Walden with exceptional 65 (-7) in tough conditions and followed that up with a 68 (-5) at Whipsnade Park for the win. Great golf Glen!!
Congratulations are also in order for Cheshunt Park's Ian Campbell. He visited me for the first time the week before managing a win in the par 3 competition at Ingrebourne Links, taking home the £2500 first prize!

September was a good month for Jack Frances, although eventually losing in a playoff, Jack came runner up in the prestigious Lombard Trophy at Vila Sol. His solid play banked him £6,250 for the tied 2nd finish.
