Quintic Ball Roll System

Quintic Ball Roll software utilises a high-speed camera tracking the golf ball and putter during impact. The software automatically provides all of the information you need regarding the putter and ball, both graphically and numerically, in a way that was formerly only available in full swing analysis software for irons and woods (Trackman, Flightscope etc.) Essentially it is like Trackman for Putting but better, as it also measures the putter head.  The Quintic software can be used indoors in a controlled putting studio or outdoors on the putting green with the same degree of accuracy.

Using the Quintic within Putting Lessons or Custom Fitting ensures there is absolutely no guess work. The data produced by the software also allows technical changes to be backed up by improved numbers, ensuring improved biomechanics.

Data can be captured and summarised for initial analysis but can also be viewed as a single putt during technical changes.

What does the Quintic Ball Roll capture?

  •  Face Angle & Face Rotation during the Impact Zone

  •  Impact Club & Ball Speed

  •  Impact Ratio (smash factor)

  •  Face Twist (Face deflection as a result of strike)

  •  Acceleration profile through impact

  •  Lie Angle at Impact

  •  Angle of Attack

  •  Shaft Angle at Impact

  •  Ball Speed during the first 16 inches of the putt (how the ball  slows down)

  •  Launch Angle & Vertical Bounce

  •  Skid, Backspin & Roll (Angular rotation & revolutions per minute)

  •  Hook or Slice Side Spin

  •  The point of Zero Skid / Time to Zero Skid

  •  The average of up to 200 putts including the range & standard  deviation, for easy comparison of putters and putting technique.
